Family Bicycles, LLCTired of the cold? Come join us for Family Bicycles' 1st Annual Winter Film Festival. The Festival kicks off with one of the best documentaries ever produced about professional cycling. Follow Eddie Merckx as he battles it out in the tough Paris-Roubaix one day race in A Sunday In Hell. The Festival kicks off on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 6:30pm at the shop. Bring yourself, a friend and a folding chair-if you have one. We'll supply the popcorn, treats, drinks and door prizes. If you think about it, rsvp to info@familybicycleskc.com so that we can get a rough headcount for the popcorn. Save the date for the February and March installments. On February 16th, join us for Klunkerz-A Film About Mountain Biking. Klunkerz is a thrill ride and a throwback to a simpler time when bored youth went outside and invented fun. Still, one thing remains the same; a good day can still be measured by how much mud you have in your teeth. This movie may not be suitable for children. Swearing and depictions of drug use occur. On March 16th, join us for The Flying Scotsman, based on the incredible true story of amateur cyclist Graeme Obree, who breaks the world one-hour record on a bike he made out of washing machine parts. |
